Sigrid Williams New Novel Portrays Cross-Continental Love-Murder Relationship

London (PRWEB) February 10, 2014

In her new book, “Jamaican Rhapsody” (published by AuthorHouse), author Sigrid Williams makes use of classic romance novel tenets – love, betrayal, hate and revenge.

“My friends suggested I write an autobiography about my colorful life,” Williams writes. “Instead, I preferred to take a certain period of my life and build a story around it.”

“Jamaican Rhapsody” starts as a love story, but complications arise when the lovers’ different lifestyles and cultures – German and Jamaican – clash.

An excerpt from “Jamaican Rhapsody”:

“‘You know that I love your children like my own. Two more wouldn’t be a problem with my own four. But I need something from you that I can get custody for them.’

Julie wrote a document and signed it. It felt strange to reckon with the possibility the killer might succeed. But she had known Jamaica could be dangerous, and now at least it was a concrete danger to face.”
